Deposits & net terms for Shopify

Take a deposit now. Collect the balance automatically.

TermForge lets shoppers pay a deposit at checkout, then charges the remaining balance on your schedule — with dunning that recovers failed charges. Built for pre-orders, made-to-order and B2B.

No card data Shopify vaults the payment method; TermForge holds only the payment mandate that authorizes the later balance charge. Install from the Shopify App Store — TermForge runs inside your Shopify admin.

How it works

Set a deposit plan

1

Choose a deposit — a % or a fixed amount — and when the balance is charged. TermForge publishes it as a Shopify selling plan.

Buyers pay a deposit

2

At checkout, buyers pay only the deposit. Shopify vaults the card; TermForge stores just the payment mandate — never card data.

Balance charged automatically

3

On fulfillment, a set date, or N days after checkout, TermForge captures the balance via the mandate — with dunning if a charge fails.

What you get

Deposits at checkout

Percentage or fixed-amount deposits on pre-orders, made-to-order and try-before-you-buy.

Automatic balance capture

The remaining balance is charged on your chosen trigger — no manual invoicing.

Dunning that recovers

A failed balance charge is retried, then the buyer is reminded, then asked to update the card — instead of failing silently.
